ABOUT BACK2WORK

The Back2Work program offers paid transitional employment opportunities to underserved adults. This second chance program helps participants develop valuable work history, employment soft skills, paid job training, and much more. Veterans have priority enrollment.

BACK2WORK JOB DUTIES

  • Safety training in CalTrans

  • Chapter 8 Protection of Workers and OSHA safety standards

  • Litter abatement and debris removal along highways

  • Plant natural vegetation and remove unwanted brush and trees

  • Paint over and remove graffiti

  • Plant restoration and general yard-work in landscaped areas

  • Storm damage repair

BACK2WORK SERVICES

  • Employment readiness workshops

  • Provides current work history

  • Builds professional network

  • Learn employment soft skills

  • Career exploration

  • Post Employment assistance
