Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated items and helped spread the word for this year’s Make A Difference Day. Your contributions made a huge difference and showed the power of community.
This year volunteers engaged in gardening and creative art projects at the Cutler-Orosi and Porterville Senior Centers. Teams worked together to remove graffiti and litter from Tulare’s Downtown Santa Fe Trail. Through our donation campaign we collected essentials for unhoused youth, including backpacks, blankets, first aid kids and hygiene products. Lastly, #LEAD students wrote heartfelt letters of encouragement to guests at the Visalia Navigation Center.
Thank you to Visalia Grocery Outlet, Porterville Town & Country Market, and our Board Members for generously providing supplies for our Make A Difference Day projects. Your support played a huge role in our community’s success!
