Some people are born leaders while others are developed- the #LEAD Program serves both. We are dedicated to the growth of Tulare County's next generation of leaders and believe the work we do makes a difference.
LEADING, EDUCATING, ADVOCATING AND DEDICATION (LEAD)
The #LEAD Program is designed to prepare future Tulare County leaders by giving them the opportunity to engage with local professionals, participate in service learning community projects and visit college campuses. #LEAD participants also have the opportunity to learn communication skills, strategic planning and much more! The hope of the #LEAD Program is for students to leave the program with a clear set of educational and career goals.
PERKS OF BECOMING A #LEADER
Upon successful completion of the #LEAD program, students may be eligible for:
Access to Mentors - Engage with local business owners, elected officials, and college professors
Employment - Opportunity to be recommended for an internship or employment with partner agencies
Team Building - Socialize with and support other young people in the program
The #LEAD Program is provided by a partnership between the Tulare County Board of Supervisors, the Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency, and CSET. #LEAD is open to high school juniors and seniors in Tulare County.
