CSET to Open Woodlake Senior Center
/Community Services Employment Training (CSET) is hosting an open house to mark the reopening of the Woodlake Senior Center on Monday, March 27 at 9:00 am. Light refreshments will be served and the center will be open to the community. The Woodlake Senior Center is located at 145 N. Magnolia St., Woodlake and will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm and can be reached at (559) 564-3251.
“We are thrilled to reopen the Woodlake Senior Center to the community,” stated Jerel Dutton, CSET’s Assistant Director of Senior Services. “We are excited to open the center so we can resume providing valuable in person resources, healthy meals and activities for Woodlake seniors.”
CSET operates eight senior centers for residents 60 and older throughout Tulare County. The Cutler, Earlimart, Farmersville and Porterville Senior Centers are currently open, with Exeter, Goshen and Lindsay opening in the coming months. The Senior Centers provide activities, education, community resources and healthy meals to local seniors. CSET also offers home-delivered meals to seniors who cannot prepare nutritious meals for themselves.
