The Official Giving Tuesday Community Campaign in Tulare County

[Tulare County, CA] - On November 30th, people around the world will come together to make an impact and celebrate generosity. On this global day of giving, it will be a historical day for everyone in Tulare County to come together and give back in a meaningful way! Join local nonprofits for the official launch of the Giving Tuesday Community Campaign in Tulare County - #GiveWhereYouLiveTC. 

Created in 2012 as a simple idea, Giving Tuesday is a day that encourages people to do good. This idea has grown into a global movement. It inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. #GiveWhereYouLiveTC joins this movement of Radical Generosity - this year's Giving Tuesday theme. 

Local generosity and community action are powerful forces for good, especially in turbulent times. In Tulare County, we have witnessed firsthand the remarkable impact that occurs when our community comes together to support and give generously. We saw this happen when our region needed it the most - during the pandemic, wildfires, drought, and freezes. Even in times of economic uncertainty, we each have a deep reserve of generosity, which we can deploy in myriad ways to make a difference - your time, your kindness, your skills, your voice are all things you can give in addition to charitable donations. 

Join us this Giving Tuesday by showing your generosity in a variety of ways — whether it’s helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes — everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts. Let’s show everyone that Tulare County embodies the spirit of resiliency, collaboration, and generosity. 

Join the fun of giving! This year, several Tulare County nonprofit organizations are working together to spread the word about Giving Tuesday. These wonderful organizations help improve the quality of life for our community and make Tulare County a better place every day. This year United Way of Tulare County, Community Services Employment Training (CSET), Sequoia Riverlands Trust, Arts Visalia, ProYouth, CASA of Tulare County, Family Services of Tulare County, Proteus Inc., Read for Life, and the Tulare County Child Abuse Prevention Council have partnered together for the Giving Tuesday Community Campaign in Tulare County.

La Campaña Comunitaria Oficial del martes de Dar en el Condado de Tulare 

[Condado de Tulare, CA] - El 30 de noviembre, personas de todo el mundo se unirán para causar un impacto y celebrar la generosidad. Este día mundial de donaciones, será un día histórico para que todos en el condado de Tulare se reúnan y retribuyan de manera significativa. Únase a organizaciones sin fines de lucro locales para el lanzamiento oficial de la Campaña Comunitaria Martes de Dar en el Condado de Tulare - #DaDondeVivesTC.

Creado en 2012 como una idea simple, martes de Dar es un día que anima a las personas a hacer el bien. Esta idea se ha convertido en un movimiento global. Inspira a cientos de millones de personas a dar, colaborar y celebrar la generosidad. #DaDondeVivesTC se une a este movimiento de Generosidad Radical: el tema del martes de Dar este año.

La generosidad local y la acción comunitaria son fuerzas poderosas para el bien, especialmente en tiempos turbulentos. En el condado de Tulare, hemos sido testigos de primera mano del impacto notable que se produce cuando nuestra comunidad se une para apoyar y dar generosamente. Vimos que esto sucedió cuando nuestra región más lo necesitaba: durante la pandemia, los incendios forestales, la sequía y las heladas.
